Keyboard for i-Pad

I bought a bluetooth keyboard for my i-pad2 today and so far I am loving it. It is bettter to see the full screen on it and when I use Logmein on my pc. Also, it serves as a stand for the ipad.

It’s time to start anew. It’s time to start thinking about playing some music and hitting the studio. It’s high time put out some decent recordings of the band. I spent the afternoon of New Year’s Eve watching the Twilight Zone Marathon, configuring a new PC and digitizing old pictures for posterity. Sandy made some swedish meatballs and I deep fried some hot wings. That night we watched music videos and rang in the new year by watching fireworks on Pikes Peak provided by the Adaman Club of Colorado Springs. It was 20 degrees outside but we were not outside very long. We were glad to be back inside where it was nice and warm after it was over.

Japan Earthquake and Tsunami

I first heard about the earthquake about 5:30 AM Mountain Time on facebook from a friend who has family just south of Tokyo. When you hear or see a news blip on a computer screen at first it is just another line to read in the endless string of blogs and news feeds that are pushed to me every day. I went on to start my day and at my first appointment I learn that is was 8.9 magnitude and thought, “Wow, this IS BAD”. Every news station is covering it.

It’s impossible to know how bad things are until all the reports come in from the affected areas. I was born and lived in Los Angeles until 1992 and lived through several earthquakes. I know how the local infrastructure collapses and people are left without knowledge of magnitude of what is happening to them. The TVs and radios all go silent. They are left without electricity, water, and gas. Now, after 24 hours of constant news and the next day is here, it is becoming apparent how much the people are suffering and the impact this will have on the world. It will have a significant impact on the world.

Winter is approaching and we are settling into not doing much outside and playing on the computers. I set up this site tonight and and exploring the possibilities.
